So why do a blog on Christmas Themes? I like Christmas and always try to put forth my best Christmas spirit face. Christmas is a time for kids and I love to see the joy in my wonderful little nieces faces every year. Christmas is a favorite time of the year for many people and, for many different reasons. When I was a child, I can remember looking at and counting the presents under the tree; anticipating Christmas Day when I could rip through the paper and ribbons and get to those toys. My immediate family wasn’t much for singing Christmas Carols but, when we got together with other family members, we would often break out in cheerful christmas songs. I can also remember watching the Christmas Classics on TV; the shows remind me of what is now ‘claymation’ but, I don’t know what those really were; maybe something more like Tim Burton’s “Nightmare before Christmas” (a frightfully delicious christmas theme);; what do they call that? Stop Action? Where they have little models and painstakingly move the models and then take a single frame - repeat ( over and over again ).
Those shows were great, in fact, I think they still show them every christmas. I suspect someone has a blog or website that at least mentions them and might even have some pictures… Then of course, there is “A Charlie Brown Christmas” which is also a classic; I still try to watch them as they can bring back wonderful childhood memories. This brings us to Calvin and Hobbs - Classic’s in themselves. A Calvin and Hobbs Christmas cartoons… Calvin is too funny and what a great imagination for getting into trouble!
And then there are the Traditional Christmas Stories.
The same Christmas stories that were read to me as a child and likely, the same ones you might to read to yours.

Hi,
Just a point of clarification - Vermilion Christmas was actually created by me (Keith Hardaway). Not Matt. In fact, I don’t think Matt designs any of the WordPress themes. If you click on the Vermilion theme within WP you’ll see it says, “Vermilion Christmas by Christmas WordPress Themes.” And it has a link to my site. There also used to be a link in the footer of the theme, but it looks like Matt decided to remove it.
